We are looking for someone who is a recognized expert in the social sciences with an expertise in the sociology of technology and environmental sociology. The successful candidate will not only be an outstanding researcher, but also an inspirational lecturer. The position holder is expected to conduct research in the relevant fields of the sociology of technology and environmental sociology and to contribute to the research focus of the University. The research may focus on one of the following themes and their importance for the environment: Formation conditions of technical systems and artefacts, Theories and models of socio-technical developments, Governance of complex socio-technical systems. The University is looking for a researcher whose work explores systematically the area of sociology of technology and environmental sociology, with a particular emphasis on the intersections of both fields.
