The department “Data Archive for the Social Sciences” (DAS) at the Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Cologne is looking for an early stage researcher in Science and Technology Studies who would like to start his/her 3-year PhD research on the 1st of July 2020 in the framework of the project “NoBIAS-Artificial Intelligence without Bias”. The project is funded by the EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and aims to develop new methods for AI-based decision making without bias by taking into account ethical and legal considerations in the design of technical solutions.
