Call for Abstracts: For the panel “Inclusion and Exclusion in Citizen Science” at the STS Graz 2022 Conference in Graz, Austria (2-4 May 2022)

The 20th Annual STS Conference Graz 2022 „Critical Issues in Science, Technology and Society Studies“ is the joint Annual Conference of the Science Technology and Society Unit of the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science of Graz University of Technology, the Inter-University Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture (IFZ) and the Institute for Advanced Studies of Science, Technology and Society (IAS-STS).

Abstract submission

The abstract needs to be submitted online. It should not exceed 500 words, max. 5 keywords, and the abstract with authors’ contact details should be submitted by using the online form. For submitting an abstract please select a session theme. Then at the end of each page you will find a submit buttom. Abstracts will be available as online Book of Abstracts. Notification of selected abstracts by February 2022

Please consider that, if an abstract has been accepted, full papers can be sumitted too by the end of May 2022. This is an option and not mandatory. Double blind reviewed full papers (to be submitted by May 31, 2022) will be published as online-proceedings (open access).

Poster Session

Poster Session

We also appreciate proposals for poster presentations.
For submitting a proposal for poster please use the online form and indicate poster as your presentation type.
The accepted posters will be presented in an open plenary session, where every presenter will have about 2-3 Minutes to present his/her poster.
The audience will then have the opportunity to ask questions or engage in discussions one-on-one.
