“Sites of value – architecture and valuation“ ist die Abschlusstagung des DFG-geförderten Forschungsprojekts „Die soziale Konstruktion architektonischer Authentizität. Eine Kultursoziologie der Bewertungsprozesse im urbanen gebauten Raum“ (http://www.architektur-authentizitaet.org) und wird organisiert von Johannes Coughlan und Hilmar Schäfer von der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in Zusammenarbeit mit der AG Architektursoziologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Soziologie und dem DFG-Netzwerk „Auf dem Weg in die Bewertungsgesellschaft?”
“Sites of value – architecture and valuation” is a conference drawing on the research project, “The social construction of ‘authenticity’ in architecture. A cultural sociology of practices of valuation in urban built space” (http://www.architektur-authentizitaet.org), and is organised by Johannes Coughlan and Hilmar Schäfer of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, in cooperation with the working group “Sociology of Architecture” in the German Sociological Association (DGS) and the DFG-funded scientific network, “Towards a society of valuation?”
Die Vorträge und Diskussionen am Donnerstag, den 3.12.2020 werden auf Deutsch gehalten, während am Folgetag alle Vorträge und Diskussionen auf Englisch gehalten werden.
On Thursday 3rd December 2020, all presentations and discussions will take place in German. On the following day, all presentations and discussions will be in English.
